…at 11 months and one day he started rejecting outstretched hands to help him and going off on his own… we’re in trouble now! On Sunday he learned how to walk with his new shoes:

Batten Down the Hatches!!
Watch out Laporte–here we come! In less than one week’s time the O’Dell Clan-California will be hitting the town of Laporte. It will be a maiden voyage for Maeve and Katie and a happy return for the prodigal Tripster. I believe that I purchased the last of our accoutrements today and am really excited to begin packing and preparing for the trip. It is a long overdue vacation with the side benefit of seeing family and visiting good friends. Really can’t wait to see all of you–hopefully the feeling is mutual! I guess we will see after a few days—–you know, the whole fish and visitors thing or “family fun” as we like to call it in the Harrington family.
